Our History

In 2001, Express Markets, Inc. (EMI) was formed as a subsidiary of Agri Stats, Inc. to provide an alternative pricing tool to the US Broiler (Chicken) Industry. EMI's exclusive quantitative system gathers and identifies daily commodity transactions from 90% of the broiler industry while preserving confidentiality. The commodity market activity is reported daily for the national average broiler prices, top and bottom third prices, volume and truckloads. Additionally, market prices are reported for our Canadian and Mexican clientele.

By the fall of 2004, EMI expanded its data services by offering EMI Analytics.  Industry projections and analysis for production, supply, exports, and market prices are just a few of the items we monitor for the broiler, turkey and egg industries. We also provide a monthly webcast and a written newsletter, Vital Signs.

Today, our data service is utilized by producers, suppliers, processors, retailers, buyers, and foodservice organizations with an interest in poultry. Let us be an additional tool to aid your business decisions.
